Rev. Dr. Scott Masters, nThD, CCSCi
Executive Director
In June of 2023, one of our original voices, Rev. Dr. Scott Masters, was named as our Executive Director. Rev. Dr. Scott Masters, a United Methodist Pastor, has been serving the Southwestern New Hampshire region since 2000, leading several communities, while growing ministry leaders in and beyond the immediate church.
He is active in research, design of models for Trauma/Narrative-informed faith communities and was one of the voices that helped build the framework for what would eventually become the Caritas Model employed by the Center. Not only is he responsible for growing the training model, but is certified in both the Caritas model of care and as a Caritas Instructor. Scott completed his doctorate in Public Theology, focusing on community curation and restoration in the shadow of extremism, social isolation, and trauma. He continues to be active in the research and design of models for trauma/narrative-informed faith communities, especially as it relates to providing pastoral and spiritual care.

The Monadnock Center for Mission and Ministry is a volunteer-led organization, grounded in the belief that lasting change begins with committed people working together. Our board, volunteer teams, and planning groups are the backbone of everything we do—whether it’s expanding food security, offering care through chaplaincy, creating educational opportunities, or building community partnerships. We are always seeking passionate individuals to serve in leadership, share their skills, and join us in shaping a stronger, more compassionate Southwestern New Hampshire.
